I think the spec sheet shows metallic paint as a no cost option unless i misread it which could be the case. Scroll down to the bottom of the spec sheet. A good body shop maybe be able to take that piece off and plastic weld that piece and give it a spray over as a cheaper option

I have just received my Tucson and when i lock it the petrol filler cap locks but not the flap where i plug in the charge lead, is that normal? thanks for the replies, it wasn't a case of anything to do with anyone potentially getting at the electric it was more a case of some idiot pressing it and...

might be an idea to take the top cover off and remove the air filter and se if there are some loose clips or screws that should hold it in place, I am not absolutely sure but most airboxes are held in place by some sort of fixing and that might be a quick fix.
