Re: tyre choices
Primacy 4 have been good for me over the last 10k and are wearing well on the front. Better than the Conti EcoContact 6 that came with from new.

Re: Dark Knight Grey never again!
Are you using anything to protect the paint? Leather? As in Chamois?? Haven't seen one used in years..If yourr car isn't thoroughly clean, it can drag any remaining dirt over the surface inducing micro scratches..Use a microfiber drying towel instead... Far safer.. I have a ceramic coating on mine a...

Re: Long drive fuel consumption
I used the Tucson ( 1.6 petrol ) to commute the 33 miles to work which is dual and motorway for 3 months. Apart from one roundabout leading onto the M4 which usually has half a mile of traffic on, it was 68 on cruise all the way. Used to get anywhere between 42 and 45 mpg.. Any cross country trip re...

Re: New Tucson GPF light on
You can't sort the gpf by trying a high revs motorway run. That's for diesels... Do this as mentioned in a previous comment: When the GPF warning light illuminate, please perform the following driving pattern to activate the GPF driving regeneration. (Speed >80km/h (50 mph), 3rd or higher gear with ...

Re: EV not working 1.6 TGDi 48V MHD N Line
MHEV Will not drive purely on electric as it's designed to only assist the motor in accelerating and to provide braking when "sailing" to a stop. If you have the 180bhp 4wd version, the mpg is woeful as documented by others in older posts.

Re: White leather interior
Find one with a black interior!!
No seriously you can get a ceramic coating for leather seats something along the lines of these : https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior ... r-sealants
Whilst it won't help with any possible claw marks etc the dirt will be easier to remove.

Re: Auto headlights and wipers
Happens frequently to me also. To the point where I manually intervene most of the time. The same team must have designed the rain sensor as the auto wipers are a joke as well... Has to be a monsoon out there for them to realise it's raining. No setting that you describe available as far as I'm aware.
