To conclude. I phoned ATS - can't do it till Tuesday. Phoned Kwik-Fit - phone dodn't answer. So, I went down there (only about 1.5 miles away). They were able to sort it out. £29.95 though.

Grrrr. Drove out tonight and half way down the hill the tyre pressure warning comes on. Rear nearside down to 30 psi. So, back home again and ckeck. The dealer did mention that he knew someone who was a wiz at electronics and might be able to 'do something'. I pointed out that my insurance company wouldn't be impressed and he quickly changed the subject.

My dealer called today asking if I still wanted the new one.
