Re: You're never too old, to do something daft!

I did that in France. Foreign registered car in supermarket car park underground with lights on. Enough charge to keep Ev going it seemed though. Recently I came back from the USA, had a Hyundai Palisade with Adaptive cruise. Incredibly similar steering wheel and dash layout. Came home, nearly rear ...

Re: Key fob will open power tailgate but not close it

No idea what is wrong there but until you do you can hold the button to close the boot to the bottom right to the steering wheel, where the buttons such as turning off ABS would be. You can open it from here as well but need to kept it held to close it.

Assuming you have that button.

Re: Tucson Facelift Photos

I've removed the photos of the NLine as the dealer sent them from the launch event so he might not permit this photo to be out as he sent it to me(privately)

Might put them back up in time but maybe somebody else might have some.

Re: Tucson Facelift Photos

I can smell the new car off of it. I wonder what that little storage looking area is in front of the driver. I see the Tucson sill is now a silver colour whereas on my own it is matte black, these are the two things the previous images(from their marketing) generally didn't show. The rubber brake pe...

Re: Dashcam front camera position

Not sure whether it's country to country or model to model, but whilst my rear plate is stuck to the tailgate like yours, my front plate has a dedicated attachment on the bumper to which the plate is screwed. In your case though, both of your plates are stuck to the same surface i.e. paint - the ma...

Re: Dashcam front camera position

Some pictures in this thread, although I moved mine as I originally stuck it to the plastic trim and it kept falling off. How about this then? I dropped my wife to her mothers yesterday evening and when I came home I saw a piece of metal in the driveway. My front number plate. I used 3M tape(maybe ...

Re: Dashcam front camera position

The previous posters are referring to the Connector which is called Dongar that makes it very neat. I bought this myself, delivered from the USA. At the time it was on Amazon UK but out of stock by some seller for a few £s more. Yes, the install was easy, open the rear view mirror housing and attach...

Re: New Specs out for new Tucson in the UK

I see in Ireland the new Specs have been released and the price has gone up. I can understand in two ways why the price has gone up: 1. They've just gone up as prices generally have everywhere 2. They now have blind spot monitoring and area view in the top spec whereas they did not previously so tha...

Re: UK House Charging Cable for 3 Pin House socket

Tiggy777, I have the OEM Granny Charger from Hyundai, In Ireland we are given the Granny Cable by default and not the Type 2 cable which appears to be the opposite in the UK and you get the cable and not the granny charger. Anyway, the OEM charges by default at 8amps but you can switch it to 6amps o...

Re: Dents between Door Tops and Roof Bars

Initially when I read the title of the thread I presumed it might be a stress fracture from having a roof bar/box on it and being too much weight. I've my car just over a year and as I was polishing it very closely the other day I would have spotted any marks myself. When I first got my car within t...
