Don't you mean https://www.myhyundaiuk.com/ :?: (The other one belongs to a German Internet marketeer :? )

I don't think I've heard of this web site - and I can't register. It says "Vehicle not found". I 'spose I'll have to ring 'em up.
Oh yes PhilHornby. Forgot to mention you have to ring them and they send you an email with an activation code then it should recognise your license plate. Same thing happened to me today.

Interesting situation today, went to Costco and decided to try the free charging there (for those not in the know you are allowed 2 hours free charging at 7.4kWh, either have to ask at the petrol station or at the tyre station desk), however it would not charge at all. It just sat on a solid green light (which I believe means no charging occuring), then started flashing red, which indicates there is an error.

For trial and error I then took it to a Pod Point charger at Lidl and it charged fine. Wondering if I have a faulty cable or was it the Costco charger (I moved to 2 different ones so my head is pointing me to the cable). Ironically there was a Tucson opposite me charging fine so I am not entirely sure. Going to try and go later or tomorrow to another Pod Point charger at a Tesco nearby where I have to use the Hyundai supplied Type 2 to Type 2 cable, which will give me an idea if it is the cable or not.

Out of interest, anybody had any issues with the Hyundai supplied Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable?

I had to reset the infotainment system in order to set mine up. Just need a pen or pin, etc.

Tried that just now by pressing the small button next to power button with a pen a no luck same error about vehicle not reachable when scanning QR code. Will wait and see what the blue link team say on Tuesday if they respond by then.

So I've finally been told that my car has been built and is on a ship. Due at the dealer first week of July. Most people here seem to be getting cars from Czechia but apparently mine is coming from Korea (hence long shipping time). Any body know the reason for this and any ideas what the ship might be? Thanks

The PHEV’s appear to be made in Korea. Is this what you’ve ordered?

My PHEV was made in Europe, along with many other PHEVs in this forum. My car was built in February 2023.

Comment revoved. Hyundai Global Service way has changed, you cannot run the VIN anymore for free. It would say where it was built. Use this, I ran my VIN and it says Manufacturer "Hyundai Kia Czech" so use this very basic website If you've a VIN https://www.vindecoderz.com/

Yes it's a PHEV (Ultimate). Would love to know which ship it's on but I can't find anything coming that way to Tilbury.

Maybe Hyundai split the orders to more easily fulfil the demand.

At the risk of being boring with my updates (but who else can I share the exciting news with?), my car is now apparently on the dock at Tilbury (so looks like it came on EMS Highway from Gdansk after all). How long now, I wonder?
