Our selection of spy images of this test car don’t reveal too much about the updated design. The intricate headlight and grille arrangement looks to be retained
and we expect to see the angular surfacing along the body as well.

Don't forget the trick to get the 3 pin charging at 10amps moving it up to 2.1kw per hour. Hold down the button so it flashes and change it from 6 up to 10 and hold down to save. 7 hrs from empty is a good long time. Will be a while before I can get a type 2 installed but when I keep it charged I do get great MPG.
I am not sure if you are about the charger or the car, I am new to PHEV, i thought you just plugged it in and it started charging

I was talking about the granny charger and mine arrived defaulted to the lowest amp setting, like most people's. You can change it to deliver a higher load, I.e charge faster by following the steps I said.

Well I've just had some good news... apparently, my new Tucson will be at the dealers tomorrow, so we're booked to pick it up next week...!!
Now just to decide whether to P/X my old car with the dealer, or go to WBAC or similar...
(I did have a panic earlier... though about getting my V5 out ready, but then couldn't find it..!! hunted hgh and low, and eventually found it in a pile of 6 year old mail...!!)
Can I ask when you ordered yours?...xxx

Well….. after my ‘second’ long wait it looks like my Tucson (second time around) is finally at the dealers.
Although I have seen the paperwork and VIN for this replacement I am still wondering if there will be yet another issue that has me refusing the vehicle ‘again’!
Anyway, once I have it (early next week) I’ll update my signature details.

So just two things, why did you decline the first car? and secondly is the delivery still scheduled for the 20th Jan?

That's some journey. I had ordered a car back in Feb 2023 and with one thing and another didnt get to get them, I have at least got my Tucson in sight, so hopefully will get here by April.
