Re: GPS Time Sometimes Not Updating
For what it's worth they said they didn't understand it either as they do updates for 10+ cars a day and it never fails.

Re: GPS Time Sometimes Not Updating
A software update is easily done if you have a computer and a memory stick (preferably 64gb). The instructions on Hyundais website are easy to follow. I agree it's easy to do, but if a qualified technician can break a car by running the update I would rather it done by the dealership as they have t...

Re: GPS Time Sometimes Not Updating
Thank you both, I won't update the software myself as when my i30N was done by the dealership as part of a service, it bricked the unit which required a whole new dash (!) to be shipped from Germany to fix! I'll get the dealership to do it for me for this reason. Another one I have noticed is that R...

GPS Time Sometimes Not Updating
This is a bit of an annoyance as it doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes the media centre starts with the time and date from when the car was last on (for example if it's 1pm but I last turned the car off at 8am, the time shown would be 8am). If I manually set the time, then go back and select...

Re: New Car Turnaround Time
Just had this from the dealership:
Seems I still have at least a week to go.
Yes once the new car has arrived with us we will need to book it in to our workshop for its PDI checks, normal turnaround is 3-5 days but we will do our best to get everything in place for a quick handover.
Seems I still have at least a week to go.

Re: New Car Turnaround Time
Your car will get a PDI, see here; https://www.autotrader.co.uk/content/advice/what-is-a-pre-delivery-inspection It will also get cleaned inside and out and a coat of polish is normally applied. Check your tyre pressures after you've taken delivery, as although the garage should have done this, it ...

Re: New Car Turnaround Time
I have been told by my dealer that it should be less than 48 hours - however I can't tell you for definite as my car is still stuck at the docks. Dealer had been promised delivery by last weekend...still no sign :-( Mine said yesterday that it's either on a transporter arriving today, or it will be...

New Car Turnaround Time
Hi all, can I ask what your experience has been in terms of dealer turnaround, ie how long from the car being delivered to the dealer did you have to wait before it was ready for collection? Also, if there are any dealers on here that can advise what goes on behind the scenes in that time between de...

Re: 2022.. surely the year I finally get my new car!!
So my car is arriving EITHER tomorrow OR early next week. What's the turnaround like, how soon after its delivered to the dealership can I go get it?
