Re: Knocking from the back end

I had a similar thing when going round slow corners or manoeuvring. It turned out to be the sub-woofer in the boot that was loose and banging around when cornering.

Re: Static shocks and radio reception

I don't get the static problem, but I have noticed the DAB reception cutting out a lot more than it used to. I didn't have a comparison to test it with, and assumed it must be the signal.

Is anyone else noticing poor DAB reception?

IMG_4480.jpegIMG_4479.jpegIMG_4476.jpegIMG_4477.jpegIMG_4478.jpeg Nice & neat Joel's. My AndroidAuto arrives today. I'm after a similar finish to yours. Semi fixed and out if the way. Can you confirm your phone still wirelessly charges whilst using the MA-1? Wireless charging is completely inde...

Re: Android Auto, Google Maps and radio, simultaneously

Possibly is but then again CarlinKit are a major manufacturer and they made Version 4.0 to cover both Android Auto and Car Play and it was cheaper, economies of scale maybe. If I don't get this resolved I will just go back to wired AA, I won't try another route. From recent reports some people say ...

Re: Android Auto, Google Maps and radio, simultaneously

Because I just want to get in the car and drive without having to plug/unplug my phone every time. On a journey to/from work the phone just stays in my pocket, it would only need to go on the wireless charger on a long journey. This, also makes me want the Motorola dongle. Unplugging to use parking...

Re: Android Auto, Google Maps and radio, simultaneously

I've just ordered the Motorola MA1 Android Auto wireless adapter, will see what it's like when it arrives tomorrow. This is what I have been using since getting my car last June, and it has worked flawlessly so far. If I remember correctly, this is the only dongle that is recommended by Google too....

Re: Android Auto, Google Maps and radio, simultaneously

Yeah, either press the radio shortcut button and then go back through home, phone projection (or star button if you programmed it to be a shortcut to phone projection). Or, press the Mode button on steering wheel until it goes back to radio - Android Auto should remain on the screen while you switc...

Re: 12v maintenance charging

I regularly work abroad for weeks at a time, and the longest I have left my HEV is 5 weeks. I didn't know what to expect when I jumped back in it, but after reading posts on here, I was expecting some issues. However, it unlocked and started fine, no battery reset required. The brakes were a bit sti...

Re: Finally full screen android auto

It works with 8.7.630264-release Cheers. I'm on an earlier release so I'll update my phone. Can I assume this is part of Coolwalk layout? I got it on my car over the weekend too, and it's a massive improvement. It doesn't matter what version of AA you're using above 8.6, as the update for the new d...
