So, I checked the numebr stored in my phone in the app and it starts +44777.... BUT - I cannot put a + sign in the profile settings in the car. Only 0044 - which it doesn't accept. So, I deleted my profile and created a new one - I HAVE to put in +44 - it won't let me do anything else. Stupid bloody...

You can't do that, but the button on the key has to be held for at least 2 seconds, which is highly unusual if the keys are in your pocket. Same with the one in the car. It can't really be pressed and held accidently.

It depends whenyou set them to come on. I've set mine to 12mph and they work turning into my home road.

Maybe it does work like that, but I am pretty sure it only came on when I had cruise control on. I will try CC when not on a motorway and see what happens.

I don't think it's got anything to do with 'recognising a motorway' - I think it's a default of "engage cruise control, turn HDA on". which my old Tucson didn't do.
