It's a bit of a minger in all colours for me, definitely a step backwards.

The less of any keys and cards the better. I use about 10 debit/credit/store/rewards cards all from my mobile (Google wallet), much more convenient.

I am yet to look into smart locks for my 'smart home' but it's definitely on the to do list.

I'm not sure what the best way to deal with this would be, there's a big warning and visual aid to say the key isn't connected to the car. Should be enough.

Wish it wouldn't happen while I'm nipping inside for deicer or bringing the bin down the drive though.

No available here. .......and not applicable to Apple iPhones either for the time being at least. Having been on the road for over 60 years, I’m not sure that there would be any benefits for me in having a digital key with its magical powers.🙄 It's a shame it's not an option for the more tech savvy...
