Re: Important Safey Recall

Had mine checked yesterday whilst in for service. It was concluded the cables were not twisted (presumably the issue) and hence the harness did not warrant replacing.

Re: 2022 vs 2023

Looks like I'm too late - prices have expired on carwow overnight and new prices for N-Line S and Ultimate now over £40k which I was hoping to avoid. Although HEV/PHEV engines not even an option on the online configurator.

Re: 2022 vs 2023

What I noticed from test driving the 22 and owning a 23. Regenerative brakes are less grabby and a lot more smooth. When in eco mode the vehicle is a lot more responsive with aggressive throttle inputs. I never have to use sport mode but in the 22 I did. I'm very interested peoples thoughts on the ...

Re: Electronic handbrake.

I'm sure someone has mentioned before but this does engage if you are on a slope. Although do be careful - I've nearly hit the neighbor's cars a couple of times reversing on our steep shared driveway where I expected it to engage and it didn't. Cue maximum force on the brake pedal and almost a trip ...

Re: Shake, rattle (and roll)

Mine has lots of rattles coming from seats and boot area but not really tried too hard to pinpoint. 95% of the time I'm in on my own so medium music volume covers. When loaded up with the family music volume is far lower but then so are the rattles (why I'm assuming the seats are main culprits). I'v...

Re: Screen / settings niggles

I think, if you set the radio playing and then go to Apple Carplay, the radio carries on playing. Exactly this for me. Have to get the entertainment system powered first, ensure your phone is unlocked (i.e. doesn't require a PIN/Password to use Carplay) and then plug up. Carplay loads to media but ...

Re: Groaning noise when auto hold releases

Both fair points. I don't use autohold as it's annoying when trying to pull out of busy junctions of which I encounter many on my daily commute.

Either way, I have the irritating groaning noise. That doesn't derive from how I use either function as it happens on both.

Re: Groaning noise when auto hold releases

I've never gotten my head around the difference. Autohold stays on once you set it as opposed to EPB is more 'one-time' which is what has driven my use of the two. I guess I've never understood how they differ but I'm not a fan of autohold in general.
