Tuscon Hybrid issues

our Tucson has a manual boot, it is extremely heavy and doesnt 'pop open' much when you first open it. At its first service i asked them to check the boot opening and they said it is fine and there is no hydraulic in the lifts, it works on a chain system? Does anyone else have a problem with their boot?

Another issue we have with the Tucson (and the Kona we had previously) is that when the side windows get wet or freeze, moving the window up and down has no effect. Other cars have a material that layer of something just under the rim which 'wiped' the window.

ts going back in next month to have the 'info' system check out as it keeps losing our profiles.

Yes I think the boot release is terrible and very awkward to open, in fact I need two hands to perform this function and it would have been better lower down to increase leverage.
To he honest I thought I'd bought a self opening door but was wrong.
