Hi, I had a stage 1 remap done on my 2019 Tucson 1.6 GDI Petrol to cure flat spot, but since then the dashboard gear change indicator isn't working properly. Is there any way to disable this, I have looked through the menu but there is nothing there,
Regards
Gary
Gear change indicator
I see you've asked this question before and had no answers to affect a fix.
Something to try is performing a reset of the infotainment system. This won't disable the gear indicator, but it might make it work properly.
I don't know where the reset is in your model, so I lifted this from the internet, which should help you.
To reset the infotainment system of a Hyundai Tucson, you can use one of the following methods12345:
Using the factory reset button: Turn on the ignition and the stereo system, locate the factory reset button, use a sharp object to press the button until the stereo system turns off, wait for a few seconds, and the screen will turn on displaying the Hyundai logo.
Pressing and holding the audio system power button for at least 10 seconds.
Pressing the tiny reset button while holding down the power knob for 10 seconds.
Pressing the pinhole push-button to either re-boot or reset the system.
Pulling fuse number 10 in the TIPM, waiting for 20 minutes, and putting the fuse back in the fuse box.
