had my tucson ultimate mild hybrid to replace my 2021 ultimate full hybrid, bought the mild hybrid as i don,t want to pay the horrific road tax for 4 years for the full hybrid, the fuel consumption on the mild hybrid is terrible and why on earth have they removed the cornering lights also noticed on the mild hybrid there is no reversing alarm ,and when you are reversing the emergency brakes come on rather vicously when you are about 2 foot away from obstacle not good when reversing into parking space all in all i wish i had stuck with my old car the negatives of the new far outweigh the positives

Somebody else suggested that the MHEV performs best in Normal driving mode, rather than ECO.

* ECO - keeps the battery for extended engine stop / coasting.
* Sport - keeps the battery for assisting the engine at certain RPMs
* Normal - does a bit of both, allegedly
