Old man was not being rude or having a Dig…. He was merely telling it straight, which is what our generation did and still do. No need to be flippant or make a joke about someone.

I have downloaded and installed this update.
Now something which I have only just noticed is that whilst listening to a radio station, and the nav showing on the left and the radio station on the right there is a orange S symbol.
This is a Sound Hound app and if pressed will give you the album art and name of the song. Usually when listening to a DAB station is normally displays a song name anyway.

I'm not saying this is new but I hadn't noticed this before the update. It could be that I just don't usually have the infotainment setup this way.

edit: I chose the option to perform the update after switch off, and was notified via the Bluelink app that the update had completed. I didn't have that message last time I performed a update.

I did mine yesterday and left it in accessory mode while it was doing it. Battery didn't appear to drain very much. It started with 12.9v and ended with 12.8v (I have a battery monitor plugged into the 12v socket).

I noticed in the update today that when average speed cameras are active a box appears calculating the cars average speed
Nice touch
