Wondered if anyone else has received a Product Enhancement Inspection recall letter, and knows what it involves, all the letter indicates is that any work required will be done free of charge, hopefully this will include fixing the fuel door that currently sticks out 20mm from the car.

It won't include the flap unless you specifically request it.

Apparently Product Enhancement Inspection is Hyundai’s new name for recall notices as it sounds less worrying or so the service department at my local dealer tells me…they were also confused as to why I’d received a letter as our car has no outstanding recalls pending.

Further news, after a long conversation with local dealer, the recall notice is a single page amendment to the owners manual which they don’t have and haven’t a clue when they’ll receive it from Hyundai….the best is they have to personally hand to me, that entails a 1.5 hour 50 mile round journey on my part for a piece of paper….😁
