Is this another common feature?

It didn't seem to affect the car, but I pulled off and switched it off and on again which cleared it.

Maybe the brakes were dragging for a long while which could explain the pitiful economy on a run (31.7 mpg over 128 miles at 61.1 mph average)

Had the car into the dealer, no code recorded, not believed, I am supposed to get video evidence.

Anyone else see this one?

Yes I saw this one too after the car had been on an overnight ferry. Came on when I started the car on exit but after a stop cleared. Thought it was maybe something to do with the car had been moving around in the ferry and just b4 exit they tilt the ramp. Anyhow, over 2 months later and no re-occurence!

Just get an obd2 code reader and an app on the phone, you will be able to read codes yourself.
They likely cleared it in case it was one off

The snag is though, the cheap Code Readers are highly likely to be limited to reading Engine/Emissions-related codes - ie they only know about the ECU (and possibly the Gearbox) . These modules would have nothing to say about the EPB ...

I thought I'd found something affordable, in the shape of the TOPDON Topscan- only £55 at the time of writing. However, I found a review that points out that this is only for one year - there is an annual subscription after that. (Apparently, there are further costs, if you want access to the Technical Service Bulletins etc). :(

What are you using :?:
