I note that the January 2025 navigation update still appears in the official updater this morning. In the light of the KIA update being removed, I wonder if Hyundai will follow suit?

That would be fine, if it were applied consistently, in all the places it appears. It isn't!
It's applied where it matters. Technically, all 4th generation Tucsons are NX4, but for particularities like software, etc, it's worth identifying the regional versions. Otherwise, you'd probably end up trying to install the wrong software on your car.

I have the same issue trying to install the latest updates.

Checking the current software installed, it shows as NX4E.EUR.ccnc.001.001.240321.

The version being installed is shown as NX4E.EUR.ccNC.001.002.240719.

When I updated the last time, back in August last year, it took around 1 hour 40 minutes to perform the entire update. I assume it depends a lot on the speed of the USB stick, as it spent most of the time (probably 1 hour 15 minutes) just to copy those files from the stick.

Yeah, come out for a drive and left it updating as I drove and it finally got to the stage where it said it would update once the system was turned off

Any idea on the total update time, and was it one continuous update or did you turn the car off at any time and let the update resume at next start up ?

I clicked later on my car, turned it off and walked away. Maybe 90 mins later I got a bluelink notification that it was completed. The other times I have been in the car and it took less time I believe.

Well, I have been instructed/advised I should not drive for one month following a series of scans revealed potential for a stroke. I have not, therefore, had much opportunity to explore the navigation system to see if I can identify any changes. My cursory look prior to medical advice revealed nothing obvious (to me) but if the maps have been updated, then I’m sure someone, somewhere will have noticed.

Meanwhile, I have a hospital appointment on Friday and I may get to find out more.
