I did a factory reset of the Laptop in December prior to the update I did in January so I don't have the files anymore but like you say it usually isn't possible to reverse an update. It is annoying that there are some minor issues but they don't affect the driving of the car and I am able to workaround the issues. One of the 3 involved me having to turn off/on the car(volume issue), the other two were just pressing other buttons. I guess I'll have to deal with this until they release the next update. Thank you for the offer of such a file although I don't want to have to mess with the unit and for the risk of "bricking" the unit either.

Defintely they have added (for non bluelink vehicles) recently. The software should not be available if you selected your car correctly in the navigation update application. Somone above confimed that all files are the same as before, I have the previous version on my laptop if its needed

The only bit that updated on mine was the map (74 plate advanced facelift), although that still isn't as up to date as the version that bluelink uses

Note that the MY24 has a different Nav. System to the 'old' cars.

I normally download the software, by searching by vehicle/model name - i.e. "Tuscon Hybrid | Tuscon Hybrid" (as opposed to 'New Tuscon Hybrid').

If, however, I "search by Navigation system model name or Software Version" I get some different results.

The Bluelink app and car agree that the 'System Model Name' is NX4eAH.S5BLC.AEU. If I enter that string, I get "No results found."
But if I enter "NX4AH.S5BLC.AEU" (without the "e"), it matches "Tucson Hybrid!

The current software version is nx4e_H_eur.s5w_l.001.001.240726 according to the car, which again, says "Tuscon Hybrid"
but omitting the "e" (which is what the Bluelink app says", gives "No results found."

It seems very inconsistent, to say the least

(The updater doesn't seem to mention the Bluelink app. and says to get the information from the car).

I chatted with Hyundai on their update website, it was not helpful other than being told to "wait"

"For your info our engineers will release a new update very soon maximum at the end of the next month
it will solve all the issues , so no worries they are taken everything into consideration"

All the issues? This seems like a catch all comment. Is that just the standard blurb when anybody asks about this issue OR is it something they're aware of. Now when I responded what the Version I'm using is he said "That is the August release" so it stands to reason that the issues uncovered in this thread was the revision number hasn't changed since the last one. That whole "for non bluelink vehicles only" is likely somebody discovered either they forgot to say that originally, has caused issues and instead of pulling it updated the description. As I work myself with software everyday that can be an annoyance I do understand but the whole chat experience was bland. What version are you on? What are the issues? And within a minute that response above and finishing very quickly with "that's all from my end, please rate my chat".

I did ask about getting an official release of the version prior to the 17th January but was told it was not possible. Guess I'll wait.

@Phil My own System model is only slightly different because of the Plug in Consideration so my System is NX4eAP.S5BLC.AEU and Infotainment is NX4_P.EUR.S5W_L.001.001.240726 noting the difference between the H Hybrid and P Plug in. When I look at the update notice pop up it does say compatible with my car and it would be Sofware Version NX4e_P.EUR.S5W_L.001.001.240726 this time WITH THE E but looking at my bluelink app I don't have the E on the version I got. All stacks up, somebody dropped the ball and now I, and likely others, wait for a new flash.

I'd forgotten that yours is a PHEV. It's probably quite lucky that we didn't try flashing it with my HEV firmware

It also means, that my comparison with the August update files, is specific to the HEV firmware. The result doesn't necessarily apply to the PHEV version...

That conversation smells of AI

No I don't think it was AI unless their AI was intentionally told to reply with broken English to go with their non native English speaking name. Rather the conversation was basically "oh you've a problem" , "what is it?" "Yes, fix coming soon" likely regardless of what issues I said it caused.
