I'm about to take delivery of my new Ultimate 1.6 Hybrid Auto.
I've looked on line to see when the first service is due and it seems it's at 7500 miles or 6 months.
After my Renault first oil change at 14000 miles or 2 years this seems a bit quick.
Can anyone confirm when the first oil change is due?
Thanks

I asked my dealer this previously (for my new Ultimate 1.6 Hybrid Auto I've ordered) and he told me it was 1 year/10,000 miles.

I guess you can ask your dealer. Or if you get the Hyundai Service plan, they will tell you. I had this for my old 2019 Tuscon (although it was diesel). The service interval for that was 1 year/20,000 miles. But when I took delivery of the vehicle the computer was set to 1 year / 10,000 miles, so I got my dealer to change it on the computer, so it was in line with my schedule, and didn't come up with the service warning light too early.
Ordered: Ultimate Hybrid Shimmering Silver
Order date: 30th December 2021 (Dealer had on order since late October)
Original estimated pick-up date: 21st March 2022
Picked-up: 4th April 2022

This makes more sense the 1.6 engine hybrid and plug in is 180 hp.
more stress on the engine which will need more oil changes.

On receiving my car.A hybrid ultimate 230 I will have the oil changed within the first 3000 miles. As I intend keeping the car for the next 7 or 8 years.
Would be interested to know how much the service plan is for 3 - 5 years.

Before changing the oil early at 3.5K miles I would check that the engine doesn't have a special running in oil.

I spoke with hyundai uk for my 1.6 phev and 1.6 hybrid they said 10000 or 12 months . And that's what the service has been the dealer also agree with that but equally my kona electric is also 10000 or 12 months what are they serviving?
This service schedules is to keep the franchise dealers happy because they would find it very difficult to remain in business without regular customer after sales these cars could easily go 20000 twelvevor 18 months my skoda was every 18 months 20000 mile and it was 195hp 1.5 these engines are not stressed manufactures do not make stressed engines as it bad for business so people talking about stress engine show a lack of understanding.
