Are you asking how to hold the mats in position? What mats do you have?

I have the original mats from Hyundai and mine don't move. The drivers side is held with fasteners. Passenger side isn't, but doesn't appear to move. I have frequent rear passengers and rears mats don't seem to move. I've notice my rear mats sit slightly under the front seat belt attachment point.

They might have been answering the question based on my pictures above. Short answer could be a LHD car carry over for something to be attached. Elec seat maybe which my passenger doesn't have.

Oh I see. Sometimes difficult to understand context when the original text is not included with a question. Those fasteners are in the wrong place for mats whether lhd or rhd as they would still be under the seat.

For 21 monthe she just gets in and drives it and it's fine. However, as for the past 48 years, I have to clean them and I have to tell you the bling dual tail pipe is the worst bit of tat I have ever had to attempt to keep A1. It serves no purpose, the quality of the chrome is so poor I leave Solvol Auotsol on it and I still can't get between the pair of them to keep the rust off. In my view it should be an annual service replacement item, it can't cost more than a £1.

Travelling in Europe on opposite sides of the road to origin, let's not be confused by Hyundai. Who translates this?

Book is from my PHEV with Type B LEDs. Section 9-63 and 9-66-67

In one section it says, in amazing English, that I don't need to do anything yet on page 66 it tells me how to change them for Type B.

So, what is it? Do I need to do anything heading to France? Manual is clear as mud.

If you've an Nline which they call Type C it says nothing for it.

There are people on here that will have been abroad that will be able to advise. However, if I was going abroad I wouldn't be expecting to change anything other than I may adjust the beam height dependant on load. I've taken the 'traffic change' wording in the manual as correct.

From my manual, the main lights (type B&C) look the same unless you have an SE Connect model (uk base model) that uses tradtional bulbs for at least some of the lighting.

The headlamp aiming adjust, if read in context, at least in my manual, appears to be if you have had a shunt and/or have to replace the headlamp unit. No mention of doing this before travelling, plus I dare say it would not be an easy thing to do.

I get you want to get it right Berty, but don't overthink it.
Based on my experience with the lights on my N Line S, the low beam projection is not great and although our cars are set up for LHD, the beam offset for that is not enough to bother road users in France.
How much driving will you actually do at night ? In my case hardly any. Just lower the beam angle with the adjuster to the right of the steering wheel and you'll be fine. You might get flashed because your lights are bright, but that can happen at anytime and anywhere with modern headlights.
Apart from lowering the beam, I did nothing else in France last year and neither will I this year.

True Oldman, overthinking it. I actually have beam deflectors, my mother handed them to me a few weeks ago. They were my late fathers who brought them to France but refused to put them on the car, said "I'll play dumb if the coppers ask me". For me, Will I drive at night? Highly unlikely, but monsieur plod might not care. I'll just bring them with me along with a bulb kit that won't work with LEDs and Hi Viz Jackets(in glove box) I hope I won't need.
