They said all tip top and great condition, surprised as the front is covered in chips and some on doors also
But I’m still happy with it
Sun roof stopped making noise so couldn’t share with them

Had 2 new front tyres today both were at 3mm 2mm 3mm, chuffed as ATS changed to cross climates
Rears are at 4mm 4mm 4mm so still a bit to go
Car now on 29,840 miles, thought they lasted well
3rd Service booked for 28th September 2023

c30,000 miles on an SUV sitting on 19” wheels seems pretty reasonable to me. Oh!.....did the tyre fitter happily fit the new tyres to the front end. I went down the Michelin CC route on my last car but the tyre chappie at Costco wouldn’t be persuaded to attach them to the front as their policy is to fit a pair of tyres to the back end. They’re an American outfit and that’s the way they do things over there!
Just a few weeks after I had the tyres done, I put my KIA in for service and left a note on the instrument binnacle for the mechanic asking him to do a front-rear same-side swap, pretty please. Sorted without charge and without quibble!
I have heard the arguments if only fitting a pair of new tyres, that they should go on the back. However, I wanted the better wet weather and snow performing tyres on the driven wheels. Apart from that, on a skid pan many years ago, I found that after a little practice, the back end of a car breaking away wasn’t too difficult to correct. However, the front end losing grip is a different story!

I think so too. Which tyres did the car come fitted with? (Mine has Michelin, but I bought a wheel from a MY21 car and that was different (Continental, ISTR)).
I think everyone should do a skid pan session. Corrective techniques don't take much learning ... but they do have to be learned!

He did a straight swap on the fronts mate, didn't say a word just gave me the keys back, i had cross climates on last two cars and on the few occasions the UK shut down due to snow they were brilliant, even when the M4 wales was on code RED i made it home and Back the next morningIndalo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:36 pmc30,000 miles on an SUV sitting on 19” wheels seems pretty reasonable to me.
