That was my common sense reasoning but I have no electrical or engineering training to back it up.

Addenda to my alarm problem ;
Might have been previous about the alarm. Just been out to open the car and reset the interior alarm. Whilst in the vehicle I discovered an elusive, annoying little fly which has now been dispatched to fly heaven. Relocked car and spent quite a long time afterwards talking to my neighbour and thus far the alarm hasn't gone off. Hopefully, end of story

I've had the reset issue a few times, usually if the car hasn't been used for a few days. Today was different. The car has been in use daily this week. I drove 14 miles then stopped for lunch for about 45 minutes. When I got back in the car the display was blank, temperature reset from 18 to 22 degrees and the middle speed indication replaced by the virtual car graphic. Completely random.

Put it up on Youtube and post a link?
Alan

I own a 2022 Ultimate Hybrid with Tech Pack - in Red (best colour).
Also have two motorcycles. Honda CB1300 and Honda CBF1000 (also red, of course).

I’ve never had, or seen that before. Have you had any luck with your dealer?

Also feels like it needs a thread all of its own, as that’s very different from the reset issues this thread has been reporting.

Not sure you have it set correctly, try with Auto and AC turned on - how does it go then?

Maybe a red herring but there are settings to allow the car to automatically adjust the climate and demist based upon the conditions within the car. Is this what is happening here? I have those settings switched off so have not experienced what is actually does, but it does look like some kind of auto control being triggered.
