Have you bought a PHEV? ... I wouldn't have thought this would be a 'thing' on a hybrid... (As in, what does it do if the battery is already full - when you're expecting some serious braking :?: ... which given the size of it, could easily be possible...)

I've tried this one pedal driving malarkey - on a Kona EV, lent by the dealer, with max. regen enabled. I must say it wasn't love at first sight; I found it very odd sensation (even though the power-off nose-dive is actually no different to any motorcycle I've owned).

I did only drive 30 miles in the car though, no doubt you get used to it. (I remember thinking how weird cruise-control felt, all those decades ago!)

No it’s a HEV not a PHEV, it does offer some serious braking especially in level 3, I’ve found so far in day to day use level 1 offers just enough gentle speed reduction to be useful.
Level 3 is more akin to doing an emergency stop…
