Thanks for posting that Australian piece, ‘PAH57’ but I think most Hyundai/KIA owners in the UK are aware by now of the technological interventions made possible for car thieves to facilitate the removal of a targeted car in 2025. It has been big news in the media for the last few years and car magazines and online forums have all covered the story.

What owners choose to do about it is up to them but there are cost-effective deterrent procedures available that go some way towards protecting their investment. There are also expensive ways to deal with the issue but there are no guarantees, sad to say, that will ensure a Hyundai Tucson will remain wherever the owner last parked it.
