Hi,

Still waiting for my tucson ultimate hybrid to be delivered

While I'm waiting I would be interested to know if the UK Tucsons have the facility to use mobile phones as a key or digital key cards ?

There are lots of internet postings about this in the US but none I can find that relate to the UK.

I know that you need the Hyundai digital key app and that you can't currently use Iphones for this purpose but i would find it convenient to have a key card to use in an emergency

Do the cars come with the key cards because I cant find any for sale in the UK

Not at the moment, and to be honest I’m not sure they ever will.

This article points to some models getting it, but it’s US vehicles - https://www.theverge.com/2022/1/17/2288 ... ars-report

That’s an Android app, and I don’t know if it was actually offered generally. As far as iPhones are concerned, Apple need to grant access to specific API’s, which they’ve started to do, albeit not used in the Tucson. Not even sure if they current model (21/22) supports it
