Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto

Hi all this is the set up that I have for my iPhone.
First is the photo of the dongle and then the sequence that it goes through together wireless CarPlay.
this takes around 20-30 seconds.
I put a 6mm number plate sticker from Halfords on the back of it to stick there on the side.

Can you confirm your phone still wirelessly charges whilst using the MA-1?

Wireless charging is completely independent of using a dongle. Mine charges as per normal when connected to the MA1.

My phone does charge (Pixel 7 Pro), but my phone starts to get hot, and the wireless charging cuts out. I think it may be a phone issue rather than car issue, as the phone is struggling with the the wireless output and wireless charging.

Is anyone else finding this?

I've not had any issues with the MA1 and wireless charging, the phone does warm up sometimes though but not hot.
It got a good hammering last weekend on a trip to York, using Google maps and having the kids shout non-stop at Google to play music on Spotify. I've been very impressed with it so far - no hiccups or failure to connect etc..

Yep get that it's independent, but some on the Forum (another thread) stated the wireless charging pad didn't function when linked to wireless Android Auto. I thought it strange hence why I asked.

I also noticed something about my non Motorola Dongle. Pottering along and I said I would activate the rear camera and there was then a fight going back and forth with the car and Dongle. It would go straight back to the AA screen, on the 3rd attempt it did remain on the camera as expected. I wonder if other dongles with the Tucson have that issue.

The phone I have is a apple 14 pro and yes it still chargers when I'm using CarPlay wirelessly,
but I have a Sheldon phone cover and it only charges in a certain spot.
