Afternoon all,

Just took delivery of my new PHEV Tucson N-Line S in Dark Knight.

First impressions are really good, nice and smooth ride, took for a quick spin on my lunch break.

Slightly annoying that no mats provided by Hyundai or the lease company, but I'm sure everyone is sick of reading those posts! Anyway I've ordered a set of rubber mats (after finding a thread on here), a little pricey but I'm a big believer in 'buy cheap, buy twice' and it's a 4 year lease via work, so £20 a year would be the same buying cheap ones and replacing!

Need to sort a centre console organiser and think it's all good to go!

Had a bit of a faff getting Android auto connected, it would only work with the left hand USB and not the right hand, answers on a postcard for that one!

Looking forward to the drive home and seeing how it drives on the motorway!

The lh usb connects to the infotainment system, the rh usb is purely a power source.

I didn't know that about cars coming without mats. As my car is nowhere near being built as least now I know that I will be forking out for new ones but I'm sure I can get the dealer to knock a few quid off anyway as locally they're €70 a set of Tucson branded ones. I know I can buy non OEM and fit maybe just as well but I've been done the road before of non OEM and it's often not good value, thinner carpet, moves under your feet, connection points slightly off etc. My leased company before took out the OEM mats from an Octavia and replaced with their terrible quality ones with their own logo on it(was a company car). Awful.

Enjoy your new car. I'm very jealous.

Bizarre! But glad I managed to work it out without chucking the phone out of the sunroof!!

Thanks mate! Accepted this job in March last year and ordered the car, it should have been delivered in September originally which then moved to Dec! Was over the moon when I got the call on Friday last week to say it was finally ready for delivery!

I got these ones if any use to you. Holding up well after 6 months. Available in different configurations and colours. Mine were with the upgraded diamond rubber style with red edging to match inside of N Line S.

Thanks. 👍 I saw these but weren’t sure when last looked if they would fit my vehicle. Decent price as well.
